How do you know if your answers from Google are reliable?
Not all websites on the Internet are genuine. Some websites are just jokes, while others have false information, or do not tell the whole story to make people think a certain way.
Here are some questions to ask when looking at websites:
What is the name of the site?
What is the main subject of the site?
Is there a place on the site where you can contact the person/people who wrote it and does it tell you something about them?
Is it an .edu, .gov, .org or a .com site?
Is there anything on the site that you know is wrong (not just silly) … what is it?
What is the address of the site?
Does the address look like it is part of another site that belongs to just one person?
