Managing your project, and organising your time will become a key feature of any GCSE subject, and in Design Technoloy, and ICT you must document how you are going to use your time.

A Gantt chart is a way of planning your project. Below is a simple grid and the stages of the design process are listed down the left hand side. As part of your project you need to show how much time you intend to spend on each section of the project. You must Included a key which shows the amount of time that each unit represents. When you devise your Gantt chart you should include all the stages required to make you mechanical toy from the initial research to the final evaluation.
For this project you are going to plan your time by completeing a Gantt chart / Time chart. Download one of the spreadsheets below the spreadsheet and complete, add colour and make it visually interesting, or create your own Gantt chart / Time chart.
